UPPER HUTT COURT
Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., presided over a sitting of tho Upper Hutt Court yoßtcrdav. Frank Scholes was fined 10s., with 7s. costs, for failing to attend. the annual military training camp, and for a similar offence Vivian L. M'Gliic was fined 205., with 7s. costs. For allowing stock- to wander, J. Anderson, H. Bcnge, and G. A. Palmer were each fined ss.,;with 7s. costs; ' G. Swensson and A." Southce wero fined 10s., with 7s. co>ts; and J: Williamson (two charges) was- fined a sum totalling 255., with 14s. costs.
Judgment by default was given in the civil ease Benge and Pratt v. W. J. Walker, for the sum of £3 75., with 10s. : costs. V. 11. Cullinger, junr., was ordered to pay Malcolm M'lntyre the sum of £G 10s. 6d., on or before August 31.
