CHORAL UNION
At a general mooting of tho Wellington Choral Union on Tuesday evening a motion, was brought forward h.v Mr. Hawkeshead to further the social sido of the union. In speaking to tho motion; Mr. J. R. Burley stated that although'he had been a member for about six years he only know about ten members personally. This shouldl to corrected, and ho certainly supported tho furthering of social gatherings. Tho following were elected' a social committee, with tho object of bringing tho members closer together and to increase the membership. Mr. A. H. Miles (chairjria.ii), Mr, Hawkeshead (secretary), Mr. •T. R. Burley (treasurer), Miss Sogrieff, Miss Hogg, Mrs. Fortune, Mrs. Ccx, Mrs. Palmer, .Miss Lankshear, Mr. Hammcrton. Mr. Baker.
