POOR FIGURES
SLACKNESS IN THE CITY
Recruiting is slack in Wellington again.
Last week only 40 fit men were registered—an average of half a dozen a day. The total number of recruits was 70, and of those 30 failed to pass tho aotivo service test.
On Monday of this week two fit men wero added to the register, and yesterday 15 went down on the book.
Yesterday's list of men passed as fit for activo servico is:—
