Tho "Manchester Guardian" states that it is believed in freo trado circles tint Mr. Asquith's reference to fairly apportioning the now economic policy among all classes of tho community foreshadows the Australian policy of combining a tariff with high wages. [Mr. Asquith, in tho House of Commons, stated that the Government was consulting the Labour mombors with a view to framing a social and industrial policy after tho war, intended to secure tho fairer distribution of tho results of industry among all classes.]
