It is lie- , licved that his fighting machine was shot : do\vn. The others leturned undamaged. ATTACKS ON ZEEBRUGGE AND GHENT ' (Rec. August 6, 5.5 p.m.) Amsterdam, August 5. An eye-witness states that fourteen aeroplanes bombed Zeobrugge. "I counted twenty-five explosions and two hip fires. Tho Germans were ur.able to reply, owing to the height of tlio aeroplanes. The Germans ari evacuating all their ammunition depots at Ghent, and removing them to Antwerp." The bombs of the, air-raiders who attacked Ghent totally destroyed the air she<l, where 150 men were employed, and a munition faotory in tho suburb of Leddcrburg. They also did great damage to the railway station at the biggest junction in Belgium.
