Mr. ltobert Munro, K.C., M.P., the Lord Advocate, told the General Assembly nf the United Free Church ill Edinburgh how a disgraced soldier got back to the Army. The man was discharged with ignominy while with the forces in India. After coining into contact with a.minister and reforming, he tried to reenlist, but was refused on account of his record. He wrote n letter to tho King, who ho addressed as "Dear Kins." and as a result was taken back to the Army. After great gallantry in the noman's land between the trenches, he died trying to savo others.
