'•».'■■ '- SIXTEENTHS MARCH ON-SUNDAY. Owing to the continued bad-weather it was decided: yesterday- thn't the march of the Sivteontlf 'Infantry " Roini'orce:ments .would be, abandoned" altogether, and' - that- - the -troops ■ ■ would-- proceed to Trentham by train. On this-order being ■ oommunicated to the men they expressed such keen disappointment that it was-decided to try to meet their wishes, as the march over the hill is recognised to be, in a way, a hall-mark of (the fitness of the troops It has therefore been arranged'that if the weather permits the Sixteenth- will leave Featherston camp on' Sunday morning, and march to Kaitoke.' There they will entrain for Trentbarn. On Snnaay morning the Eighteenth Infantry Reinforcements will'leave Trentham by train for Fcatherston. The Seventeenth Reinforcements in camp at Featherston began their • extended leave yesterday, the date being anticipated somewhat owing to tho bad weather, which made TOgular training, almost impossible..
