Mr. Lionel Curtis, one of the founders of the "Hound Table- Quarterly,'' .will lecture at the Concert Chamber, Town. Hall, on Monday evening, on'tlie "Price of Peace." • His address will have reference to the problems of the British Empire at the present time and their solution. Since his address to the New Zealand, Club last Monday, Mr. Curtis has been in the South 'island, and was well received in Christohurch and. Dunedin.. Mr.* Curtis is a distinguished studeut of Imperial affairs, and one of the best authorities on his subject in the Empire. The lecture is free, mid the public is cordially invited to attend by the "Hound Table Organisation," the Chambers of Commerce, and the Workers' Educational Association, under whose auspices the lecture is being given. His Worship the Mayor will take the' chair at S p.m., and those attending are requested to be m their spts punctually.
