Mr. Norman Aitken arranged the programme at the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday, when he was ably assisted by the Misses Tore St. John, Kntner, Stewart, and T. Aitken, and Messrs. Aitken, Oswin, Ross, Tucker. Ml'. Blick was the pianist. A resolution of indignation was moved and carried concerning the terrible murder of Captain' li'ryatt. "Mr. Moore was in the chair. He spolcs on the temperance question, and pledges followed.
