'J'lie local oflirc of the Sha.w-Savill adviso that their liners Waiwera and Pakelui have beeu delayed at Auckland by. the wet weather. They are expected to leavo the northern port to-day, being ifiie hero oil Sunday. COASTAL TRADE DISOEGANISED. Tito southerly blast has considerably disorganised coastal shipping. Practically all the smaller vessels are confined to port. The Nikau had a very rough time coming across the Strait yesterday morning, and did not make port, until after 1 o'clock. The Westralia. was unable even to land passengers at Napier, mid -was obliged to proceed on to Wellington. She is due bere to-day, and leaves this evening for the south. The

Stress ol weather delayed the departure of the Pateena from Picton last evening, A telegram received last night Stated that the vesseL was expected to leave for Wellington at 3 o'clock this morning. She i© expected today, and is scheduled to leave for Nelson and the coast on Saturday. Mr. W. Bissett, late fourth engineer of the Niagara., is at present in camp. Mr. G. H. Stevens, late of the Maori, haa joined the Mavaroa. as acting fifth. TJp till late last evening there was no 6ign of the Komata, which left Westport at 11.50 a.m. ou Wednesday for- Wellington. Most likely the collier is sheltering. The Manuka left, for Sydney .shortly before 6 o'clock last evening.
