She is now near Virginia Capo (at tbo entrance of Chesapeake Bay). The weather is rough, and the Allied motor-boats may have difficulty in scouting. It is believed that ths Allied cruisers have dropped many nets in the relatively small channel which leads out to sea from the bay. 'A late message states that the Deutschland has passed Annapolis (Chesapeake Bay), and is expected to reach a favourable submerging point before daylight. She will then determine whether to make a dash. ' There is great activity among the United States and other watching cruisers. ,' ONE WATCHING CRUISER. Newport News (Ya.), August 2.
