TIXTUEES TOK SATURDAY. Mr. A. E. Wells presided at hist oveuing's meeting of tho Wellington Football Association. It was decided that owing lo tho bad slato of the Basin Heservo tho benefit match be postponed till Saturday, August Mnrist Bros, wrote asking if they could tako two matches by default owing to the opposing (cams not turning up last Friday. As the bazaar interfered with tho matches last Triday, it was decided that the matches set down for that day bo played to-morrow, except in the country districts. Hoys' Institute wrote offering another team in the Sixth B grade. It was decided that the secretary bo written to advising that the team could play a Fifth B team which had a bye on Saturday, but that ?he team could not enter into the championship matches. Air. G. Fitzgerald, Feathcrston, wrote inquiring if a mutch could bo arranged between a team from Teatherston and a town team on Saturday next. As there are no grounds available, it was decided to ask the Teatherston team if they could arrange to play on Saturday, August 12. The suggestion from Mr. P. L. O'Connell in connection with free admittance of returned soldiers wearing badges to the Basin Ueserve was "received." The fixtures for Saturday are:— Third Division.—Marist v.
