COMMERCIAL REPRISALS
GERMANS LIQUIDATING BRITISH INTERESTS. (Router's Tclosram.) (Rtfc. August 2, 8.10 p.m.) Amsterdam, August 1. A German communique states that as a reprisal for- tins action of Britain in liquidating German enterprises, the Chancellor (Herr von Bethnuinn-Uollweg) _ is arranging for tho compulsory liquidation of companies in Germany whose capital is mostly British, or aro managed, or supervised from Britain. The liquidations can extend to a firm's branches and ground property, and also to British investments.
