The coronation ceremony in connection with 'the Votono Rosebud Carnival was repeated at tho Lower Hutt Town Hall last evening. The proceeds are to lo handed over to the Hutt-Valley Wounded Soldiers' Fund. Tho various characters were well sustained by , the "rosebud" candidates and others, tho cast being practically tho same as that Riven recently at Petono. 'Mr. E. P. Hishworth said the Carnival Committee hail raised altogether about £M for the fund through tho medium of tho rosebuds. (Applause.) An orchestra, consisting of Messrs. Pilcher (piano), Shearer (violin), and Jones (cornet) suppliod tho music. Tho proceedings terminated with a Coronation dance. Tho delegates lo tho conference of the New Zealand PLoturned Soldiers' Association have thanked the Mayor of Wsllingl'on for the hospitality of tie City during their 6tay Lore, aud have 'also thanked tho proprietors of those hotels at which they wero guests.
