August 1, 9.10 p.m.) New York, August 1. • Tlio police Investigations into the circumstances connected with tho bomb outrage, in tho San Pranci6co explosion disclosed the fact that it was intended to hurl a bomb from a roof down among railway employees who had refused to join a strike. Tho impossibility of veach'iug the intended position, owing to tho parade, caused a change of plans, and in tho panic a mau_ who had tho bomb in a suit-case, left at on tho side-walk. Papers have been soibeel' which establish the guilt of tho man who was arrested.
