It states that the German Foreign Ofiico verbally informed tho Ambassador on July 26 that Captain Fryiitt's trial had been fixed to take place at Bruges on July 27, and it would try and secure a postponement; but the Foreign Offioo wrote on July 27 'that a postponement was impossible, because tho German witnesses from the submarine could not bo detained. Tho telegram adds ' that an attorney was appointed sto defend Fry ail. CAPTAIN DESIGNED TO HIS FATE. London, July 30. A steward on a Norwegian steamer, who talked with Fryatt, states -that tho captain wns resigned to his fate. Tho Germans plainly told him he would be shot.
