Secre : tary to the War Offire, stated that the Turks held about 600. officers and 8370 men, including prisoners: taken in - the Dardanelles canipaign, and Indian - and Egyptian.native troops. The "Morning Post" asserts, that Lord Kitchener, shortly before his death, told that journal. that : Germany .should be punished for her organised treachery. He suggested'that the Imperial and Dofuirtion Parliaments, should, legislate prohibiting Germans: for twenty-one years after the war from being naturalised or domiciled in the Empire, arid from entering partnerships or becoming shareholders in British companies. He regarded Germany's conduct as something outside the range of human experience. They deliberately prepared, over a long series of years, to dominate the world. .They used their subjects as spies and agents of corruption,, and used the hospitality of their neighbours to prepare for their destruction. '
