Many will be grievously wounded; many too weary to resume their ordinary routine of work for some time. Palmerston North shows a practical way in which nil can help, namely, the establishment of a club for the free nso of all soldiers and sailors. To Taise funds for this club farmers of the Manawatu district have given 2200 sheen to he disposed of by art union. Tickets are one shilling each. Each winning marble will ho returned to the barrel after each drawing, thus giving every ticket-holder 250 chances for each Is. ticket. Full particulars are advertised in this issue, and the advertisement also includes a coupon to fill in and forward, with remittances, to the secretary of the Anzac Art Union, Palmerston North.
