TEACHERS' GRADING SCHEME

The North Canterbury Education Board to-day passed a resolution that ''owing to the many anomalies apparent in .the scheme for grading teachers, ,and in view of tho injustice that will be inflicted on many of tho board's teachers if such a scheme should be put into operation, tho Minister bo earnestly requested to extend the time for which teachers' appeals may be lodged.'
