LECTURE ON INDIA
In connection with the Jccture on India, to bo given by Miss Kussell, of Bombay, in the Concert Chamber thi6 evening, some thirty young ladies, attired in Indian costumes, take part, the effect being striking and full of colour. The cantata illustrates the customs and deprivations which Indian women suffer from. One tableaux shows the visit of a missionary, to the zenana. A dialogue illustrative of a morning at a mission dispensary is very amusing. A,scries of lantern views with which Miss Russell's lecture will be illustrated, give some interesting glimpses of this fascinating portion of tho Empire. '
