THE BILL INTRODUCED. The Kinematograph Pilni Censorship Bill provides for the appointment of censors who shall examine, all films submitted to them for approval. Such' approval shall not bo given to any film which, in tho censor's opinion depicts any, matter that is against public order and decency, or th© exhibition of which for any other reason is, in the opinion of the censor, undesirable in the public interest. Approval may bo given generally or may be given subject to the condition that the film shall be exhibited only to any specified class or classes of persons. There shall bo payable for each film submitted for approval such fe.es as may bo prescribed. Any person exhibiting a film in contravention of tile Act shall bo liable to a fine not exceeding .£SO, and the film may be forfeited.
