• tT The Wellington Harbour Board met 'last evening. Air. C.'E. Baniell presided, aud there were present also Messrs. C. \V. Jones, H. L. Nathan, .r. G. Harkness, SV. Coble, A. H. Hindmarsh, W. T. Hildreth. .]. W. M'Ewan, J. G. Cobbe, .A. 31'Farlnne, .8. E. Sinclair, jj[. Cohen, and U. Fletcher. Jt was reported tliat the current account, showed a credit of .1:50,1:30, the imprest account .BISGIi, and that there was ,£60,000 on fixed deposit. It was decided to iix September 4, • 1916. for the public drawing of iifty-ono debentures of the board's je?60,000 consolidated loan 'for redemption on February 28, 1917: It was reported thai: after consultation with tho representatives of the. .employees the tender of Messrs, James Smith, Ltd., had been accepted for supply of uniforms for twelve months, and that j:he tender of Sfossrs. Chas. Hill and Son had been accepted for supply of uuilorm caps for the bi\u]9 period.
