SOCIETY OF MUSICIANS
At the annual meeting of the Society of Musicians, Wellington (Inc.), held last evening, the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. Bernard P. Page: vice-presidents, Rev. E. I. Sola, Mr. 1,. F. AVatkins; lion, secretary, Mr. Ch. W. Kerry; lion, treasurer, Mr. Leo. B. Buckeridge; lion, auditor, Air. J. 11. IT. Jack; council, Misses'Simpson and AVatkins, Messrs'. Reginald G. Blow, Sigurd Lcstrup, H. H. Tombs, and If. Temple White. On the suggestion of the president it was decided that the society should arrange to give a first-class concert in the '.['own Hall at as early a date as is convenient, the society to pay ail incidental expenses, to ensure that the gross amount taken will be available for the Navy League Fund. Tho proposition wis'most enthusiastically taken up, nnil with such a strong committee as the officers of the society to arrange tho programme, an excellent concert and a libend response on the part of the public should result.
