LOCAL CONTROL MEETS. Mr. D. AVcir presided at the weekly meeting of the Wellington Rugby Union last evening. As it was'understood that St. Patrick's College team is withdrawing from the contest, an application to play AV. Coles, a student of the college, in the Petone team, was granted. An application by 'J'. A. Coulter, an ex-League player, to play football under the union's jurisdiction was sent forward to the New Zealand Bugby Union for its decision. fixtures postponed from last week will, weather permitting, bo played on Saturday. ■■- As only four clubs have responded to the request of the anion to supply Uie names -of" members' who v .have, enlisted, been killed in action,..or. 'vouliaed to date, it was decided to i'gaiu request the remaining clubs to forward'the lequirecl information at once. The names of the four clubs who have sent in particulars concerning their.members are as.'follow: Wellington F.C.: 190 members enlisted, 18 killed and 18 wounded. Athletic F.C.: 121 members enlisted, 3 killed. St. James's F.C:: ii members enlisted. St. John's P.C.: G members enlisted.' "
