Sir, —As a soldier wearing the King's uniform, I ivould beg to take exception to the frequent remarks in the Press re the drunkenness of men in uniform, and _ also, to the comments 011 venereal diseases. As citizen soldiers, I think it is only right we should be treated as such. We are Hot here for the glamour, of the uniform nor for the ss. a day as under the Government of which Mr. Massey is leader is considered sufficient. We could do far better.
