With 'the end in view of helping to'better tho circumstance? of tho people of that littlo country, tlio novel ;idca of a produce fair at the Town-Hall'for two days has been thought-out. At this fair, in which the school children are taking a leading part, all kinds of produce will "■ be sold. The farmers and several householders of the Wellington' Province will deliver the choicest meat, vegotables, or. jams in their possession to the Town Hall free of charge: Thus there will be no deductions from, tho amount raised, and the entire proceeds will go to the fund.
■ -This idea, if carried, out to a success, .ful finale, will-mean a large sum to contribute .to • the feeding of. the destitute Belgian children, and at .the same time will not inconvenience the helpers financially. Tho goods will be sold at thu •usual city prices," and buyers are guaranteed that' everything will bo in the freshest condition. Thursday and Friday next, July 27 and 28, are-the.days on which tho fair will be open.
