WAR DECLARATION DAY

SECOND ANNIVERSARY. Last year, at the request of the Government tliG Mayors of. the cities and principal other towns in the Dominion arranged public meetings for August 4, for the purpose of commemorating tho anniversary of the declaration of -war by Great Britain against Germany. The Government propose to request that meetings be also held this year on that date to commemorate tho second anni-. iversary, and to pass resolutions similar to those passed last year.
