we had only a'moderate entry of *heep. which met with a very fair demand. A good yarding of cattle met with a very ready saio, all selling at highly sati* factory prices under the hammer, except one or two small pens. We quote:—Mixed aged ewes,.in lamb, 225. 9d., 245. 6d.: hoggets, 195.; forward empty heifers, £8 19s. 6d.; ZD-mouth do., £4 55.; 3-year steers, £11 45., £11 10g.; other, £10 75.; fat cows, £10; fat heifers. £9.
