Wo , are teaming the nest one you desite to endow "The Weber Church District Bed," so as not to cause delay .in waiting for the money to . arrive. .... You will be interested to know- ' ■ that the hospital''is now to bo re-, moved to Scotland (from .Caen, in France).' Tho work has been most appreciated by the ' French Red Cross. ' But an urgent need has arisen for hospital work among our sailors, . and we have accepted tho invitation of tho Admiralty to work among the men of our l ? Ieot. We feel' sni'b this will be a popular . ' move in-New Zealand. . Wo. feel it difficult to express oitr thanks for the' constant lielp received from New Zealand, but we'assure you it. is an immense encouragement 'when' wo think of our successful ■ work in your_ : far-away port of tho globe/' '. Mr. Whibley states that £109 has been sent . Home this year from wool and donations to. endow, two bods at the. Churoh. Armj-..Hospital (£SO endows.ono, for. a. year). Those-who.have so generously helped in.this patriotic.work, will be glad to. learn that their two beds-are now set up in Scotland for tlio sick, and wounded of our bravo sailors .who. aro doing so much to ensure the prosperity of New Zealand during this war of tho nations.. . ... -2. s. d.
