Ejpect cloudy and unsettled -weather, with rain probable generally, .and snow on some of the higher livels in tho south. Barometer falling in tho north, but unsteady, with a rising tendency in tho south ' . A westerly storm area has' ruled, and high northerly and westerly winds have prevailed, especially in and southward of Cook Straight. ..
