Her nephew, Captain 'Allan MacDougall, a well-remem-bered "old boy." of the Terrace School and Wellington College, and New Zealand Rhodes scholar, is a captain in the 22nd Royal Pusiliers, ajid has seen considerable fighting in France, where ho is still 011 active service. Two of his brothers are" also engaged on active service in that country; one, Dr. J. D. MacDougall, is in charge of a hospital camp, and another is a member of the Loval Mounted Scouts, and saw service at Galtipoli.

The knitting classes, which have been conducted-for some time past at the Town Hall, will be continued on Wednesday afternoons only for the next few weeks.
