BLUFF. Arrived.—Warrimoo (6 a.m.), from Sulhey. RIVERINA, FROM SI'DNEY. A cable message advises that the Riverin a left Sydney at 12.15 )..m. yesterday for Wellington. The vessel should show up early on Monday morning. There arc 87 passengers on board the vessel, and she has 984 tons of cargo to discharge before proceeding to Lyttelton at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. The time fixed for the Riverina'n departure for Sydney on Thursday uext is noon, instead of 5 p.m. as ia usual. ROTOBUA'S PASSENGERS FROM LONDON. The Psioona, due in port to-day from Melbourne, via southern ports, has some 2000 tons of cargo to discharge here bofore leaving for Melbourne direct. It is' expected to dispatch her for the Victorian port at 5 p.m. oh Saturday: THE EDGAR LUCKENBACH AT AUCKLAND. The new American-owned steamer Edgar Y. Luckonbacli, which arrived at Auckland from New York, via Panama, Canal, on Wednesday morning, had a fairly uneventful trip. The vessel left New York on June 10, and arrived at Colon after a fine trip, ou June 16. Some .delay was met with coming through tho canal, owing to dredging operations necessary owing to the constant filling in of the waterway. Balboa was clea,red on, June 23, and fine weather was experienced until about a week out from Auckland, when a heavy sea, was shipped, causing some slight damage'. The heavy weather continued until arrival at the northern «port. Tho Florence Luckenbach, of tho same line, due at Wellington any time now, was communicated with, and it was found that she was a-bout 1000 miles behind. Captain M'Lcan is in command of the Edgar Luckenbach, and he has associated with him the following officers:—Chief, Mr. J. W. Ford; second, Mr. A'. Cox; third, Mr. W. S. Stone; chief engineer, Mr. P. H. Hegh,am; second, Mr. C. F. Miller; third, Mr. W. Swayne; fourth, Mr. H. Barton. Mr. R. A. Noble is in charge of the wireless. ! MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Mr. If. Davidson, wireless operator ■ of tho Pateena, has transferred to the Moitai. Mr. C. B. Madden,. assistant purser of the Paloona, is to transfer to the l'e Anau as purser, in place of Mr. C. Brent. Mr. W. W. Miller, assistant purser of the Mararoa, has .transferred to the Moeraki in a similar capacity, vice Mr. IJ. E. Clark, who has gone to Dunedin to join the Rosamond as purser. Mr. J. Elley, third engineer of the Maori, has come ashore from that vessel, his .place having been taken,,by Mr. R. Mentiplay. She is scheduled to clear, for Napier and Gisborne the same' day. . The New Z«oJand Shipping Company's liuahiue arrived early yesterday 'morning from the Bluff. The vessel is berthed at the .Glasgow Wharf. The Te Anau left Auckland on Wednesday night for Wellington. She will be dispafched from this port for Oamaru, Timaru, and Bluff on Saturday. The Rosamond, from Dunedin, Oapiaru, and Timaru should show up at Wellington about Monday next. Her subsequent movements have not been decided upcii. The .collier Kini was to leave Gj'eymoutlv yesterday with a load of coal for Wellington. , It is probable that on arrival from Paten- to-dav, the Hawera will withdraw for overhaul. ; • Duo from Sydney, via .Auckland and Host Coaat ports, on. Saturday morning, the Victoria has 210 tons of cargo to. land here. She leaves for Dunedin direct tl\e same evening. \ The Tar&wera is due from southern' ports to-day, and is fixed to proceed on to northern ports this cveniug. Cargo will be received for,the vessel until noon only.
