WATERSIDE WORKERS
ANNUAL MEETING OF UNION. The annual meeting of the Wellington "Waterside Workers' Union was hold in the X Store last evening, Mr. F. Curtice presiding. The Teport and balancesheet were adopted. The president expressed appreciation of the work done by tho executive during a strenous year. It was decided, that the. ballot for tho oleclioa of officers (nominations already published) will take place on Tuesday awl Wednesday next. Messrs. L. Glover, J. Roberts, and F. Curtice were elected a committee lo represent tho union at a conference with tho employers for the purpose of arrauging revised hours of engaging labour. Tho report of tho Disputes Committee was presented.
