KELBURN RATEPAYERS
The annual .meeting, of the .K'clburn Ratepayers' Association was held last eveniug, Mr. I'. Jleudowcroft presiding. The annual report. stated that owing to the war the committee had been obliged to suspend any schemes which entailed a large expenditure. Much good work, however, had been done, 'j'iio committee regretted to stnte (hat ■they hud not been successful in obtaining any reduction for permanent residents, on the Kelburn tramway. The balance-sheet showed a debit balance of Ids. (id., which was covered by the outstanding subscriptions amounting to J-l. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, llr. ]?.
