MEETING OP THE UNION. The Wellington Rugby Union met last evening. Mr. D. Weir presided. Tlio secretary of the Wellington Public Schools Rugby Union notified that it had passed the following resolution:—"That this union request the Wellington Rugby Union ,so to alter its constitution as to allow this union to bo represented on the Wellington Rugby Union.'" The bens of the union expressed sympathy' with the motion, but decided that no: thing should be done immediately. • I The Victoria College Club, in reply to an inquiry why noticß of default was not given oy the University Seconds on Juna 21, stated that they telephoned tlvo union's office, and called up the office on the. morning in question, but found uo one in.
