ARABIAN INDEPENDENCE
ALL MECCA FORTS SECURED, (Beater's Telesram.) * i (Rec. July IS, 5.5 p.m.) Cairo, July 15. The remaining forts near Mecca have surrendered. The total booty captured includes ten mountain, ten Sold, and fifteen machine guns. A hundred officers, 2500 soldiers, and 150 officials have been made! prisoners since independence was proclaimed. No trace of Turks remains in Mecca. . _
