Townshend to a friend, in which lie says he is living in a cliarming villa on a most beautiful island ill the Sea of Marmorn. He has free usi! of a yacht to visit Pera and Constantinople as often as he likes. He is treated as a guest and not a prisoner. Enver Pasha has granted permission, for his wife and daughter to join liim.
