During the hearing of the evidence at the inquest concerning the Knkahi tragedy—in which a man named Jeffrey attacked his wife and six childteii, two Of them fatally,, and tholi committed suicide—it was stated, that Jeffrey had objected to his wife dancing with one James . Clark after the latter had been *quosftd by the Dance Committee to leave the hall. f Yesterday Clnrlc was arrested near Taihape on a charge of committing an .unnatural ofTence against a boy at Kftk'ah' on April 29. Accused was brought betoro the Court at Tauni&runui this morning, .and reminded till to-morrow., Bail wis allowed in two securities of .£SO each. The police will be prepared tb go on Willi tiiß caso to-morrow.
