MASTERTON NOTES
The annual meeting of the Jlasterton Horticultural and Industrial Society was held on Thursday evening. > The annual report showed that, all things being considered, a satisfactory year had been experienced. Mr. G. C. Summerell was elected president for the ensuing year, and Mrs. C. F. Vallance (Kahumingi) and -Mr. J. C. Alpass, vice-presidents. Mr. H. M. Boddington, who has acted as secretary and treasurer for 6ix yoars, tendered Ins resignation, which was accepted with regret.
