TJio "Daily Chronicle" states that Sir Ernest Shackleton telegraphs that lie is • leaving Punta Areiras on Wednesday to rescue his marooned colleagues. The British Association lias provided and equipped the Emma, a 70-ton wooden schooner, which is being bowed as far south as possible by a steamer which the Chilian Government has lent.
