TARANAKI ST. METHODIST CHURCH
The circuit quarterly meeting of. the Board of Management was held on Monday evening, presided over by the Rev. ■J. G. Chapman. Twenty-six officials were present.- The stewards' balance-shoot showed' credit balances of .CM 011 the quarter and £110 to general account. Membership returns showed a very-grati-fying- increase, especially at Ara-Streot Mission, there being eight senior and 21 junior members-added during the quarter. Appreciation was again expressed of tho Rev. J. G. Chapman's ministry, and a unanimous reflation, inviting him to remain as superintendent of tHc circuit for the seventh year was cordially accepted, subject to conference approval. A committer oi six was appointed to act with similar committees in tho district to make arrangements for the forthcoming:annual conference, to be hold in Wellington. Sister May gave an interesting resume of her work "in the Aro Street Mission districtovhere most successful work is being carried on.
