At last evening's meeting of the P«tone Technical School Board, Mr. .1, oresidina:, the Director (Mr. J. Lynskey) reported that Mr. G. Blakeley 'had resigned .from the electricity class, and Mr. H. Jay had been appointed 111 liis place# Mi"> C. Fisher, of Lower Hutt, nrosented the school with three vnumes of the "Automobile." With the consent of the chairman tho use of a Toom once a week had been granted tho St. .Tolm imbalance Brigade. Mesa's. Ladder, Jl'Vicur, and Hope, upon being interviewed, agreed that tho drawing and mathematical classes conducted at the sohool, so a good part of tho way towards the formation of' oteam classes, but expressed the opinion that a practical man was required as instructor. The report suggested that Mr. Stephens should continue to base "his mathematical work on practice dealing with mechanics and steam.
