The total number of bales of hemp -graded at the ports "of the Dominion during June was 10,595, as compared with 9381) for the corresponding month of last J'ear, an increase of 1499 bales. For.tlie : twelve months ending June 30, the number of bales graded was 144,935, as compared with 5G,241,f0r the previous twelve months, an increase of 58,694 bales. • During the month 2816 bales of tow were dealt with, as compared with- 2547 for the corresponding month of last, year, an increase of '299 bales. For' the twelvp months ending June 30, the numbe'r of bales grided was 33,092, as compared with 23,188 for tho.previous twelve months, an increase of 16,504 bales, i During the month the number of bales of stripper slips graded was 252, as com-, pared with 199 for the corresponding month of last -year, an increase of 53 bales..- For the twelve months ending •Tune .10, the number of bales graded was 6511, as compared with 1590 for'the previous twelve months, an increase of 4921 bales.
