HARRIERS
' BROOKLYN CLUB. On Saturday, the Brooklyn -Harriers hold a run at Island Bay, from the rooms of th-o Island Bay Surf Club. The pack, numbering fifteen, was under the captain, F. Harlen, and H. Mio, deputy oaptuin.' The trail followed the beach to Happy Valley, thence up the valley for about a mile, theneo over this hills to Wakefield Park, and back to the start, via the i-oads. A handicap run-in was held over the last SOO yards, and resulted in a win for W. Harbison,'with li. Poutawera second, and Noden third. The harriers afterwards nntertairied thoir lady supporters at afternoon tea. The run next Saturday will bo from Belle Vue Gardens.
