GOOD NEWS

TO RUPTURE SUFFERERS, From to-day until 15th inst. Mr. A. W. Martin, Rupture Specialist and Solo Controller of tho Dr. J. A. Sherman method of treatment, will pay liis olevonth visit to Wellington. Prospective patients should understand that Mr. Martin is exceedingly well-versed in tho subject of rupture and its cure, «n<l his visit affords an opportunity, to sufferers to secure reliof, which thov should on no account allow to pass unattended. Why will people continue' to (suffer excruciating agony, continuous' discomfort, and perpetually bear about with them a disfiguring badge of servitude in tho form of a truss, when they know that numbers of people havo boon permanently cured iu this city, as in all other parts of Australasia, by a means which is as available to themselves as it has been to othors. Tho truss does not cure; operations are speculative and risky, and in a number of eases trusses have to bo resorted to afterwards. The long list of cures of hernia, including quite a number now serving in tho Expeditionary Forces, is quite sufficient to prove, the fallacy so persistently preachodjthat a surgical operation is the only moans of cure. Tho Sherman method has cured after one, two, three, and five operations have failed. Sufferers will pleaso bear in mind that on account of pressing calls from sufferers elsewhere, Mr. Martin cannot 'possibly, extend the lime of his stay here. Ho mav bo interviewed daily at tho Hotel 6ecil, Lnubton Quay, until 15th inst. The hours of attendance aro 10 a.m." to 1 p.nl. and 2 p.m. to G p.m. Special consultations by arrangement.— (Published by arrangement.)
