The sportsmanlike methods of the "Anzac" Committee . will surely win practical • support for its worthy cause, via., to raise monoy to build a club, free to' soldiers and sailors, on the M'Hardy gift section, for which object a number of Manuwatu farmers have provided 2200 sheep for disposal by art union. Tickets are now for sale at tho modest sum of one shilling each. The prizes amount to .£2200. the first being 1000 good sheep. And every •ticket has a chance in 250 prizes. Sheep are easily disposed of these tunes at prices ranging from JH to 30s. a head. Tim advertisement in this issue contains a coupon, which should bo filled up antf forwarded, with remittance, to the secretary of the committee at Palmerston North. Business people who' are-willing to assist by'selling tickets are requested to write to the Secretary, Anzac Art Union, Palmerston North.
