. '' —♦ A meeting of the Accountant Students' Society was held last evening, when a lecture was given by Mr. E. D. Bell on tin? subject of "Fxecutorship Accounts in ltelation to Uural Properties." The lecturer dealt particularly with tho difficult question of distinguishing -between capital and revenue, esjiKcially in dealing with live stock. Incidentally, ho touched on some of tho intricate poinW to ho flonsideral in preparing tho return of income for taxing purposes, which tho recent legislation requires farmers to furnish. At the conclusion of his lecture Mr. Bell was accorded a hearty vote of thanks, on the motion of Mr. Gold, swonded by Mr. F. A. >le Barclay.

Messrs. Walton and Bird were elected as circuit delegates to the Conference Arrangements Committee at Wellington'. The Yonng Worshippers' League has a membership, of 62. .It was decided to secure the services of the. Silver Band for a sacred concert to be held shortly.
