TIIE SYDNEY BOAT. The Manuka left Sydney for Wellington at 5 p.m. on Thursday. She has 1100 tons of cargo for dischargo at this port, and is bringing 45'ealoon and 31 steerage passengers. This is the first indication received that the steamer is to visit Now .Zealand, and it is not known whether s&o will coinc on to Wellington. Acoordiug to the "Shipping List" the Yechigo Maru is bound from Kobe (Japan) to Australian ports, and is a vessel of 2668 tons, commanded by Captain Aoy-ama. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Mr. W. H. The Hinemoa arrived back yesterday after visiting the Karon Rock light. She is to get away early this morning for Capo Palliser, and should be ready to depart for her periodical visit to tlio southern lighthouses on Tuesday next.
The Waiatu after a long lay-up at the Queen's Wharf got away for Kaikoura and Lyttelton last night. She* is expectod back on, Tuesday, and leaves.aggin for the 6outh on the following day.
