In the long-wool classes there was an activo demand, prices being from 10 to 20 per cent, in advance of last year, owing to smaller offerings and tho brighter outlook. Now Zealand lots on behalf of Messrs. Elisor, Nixon, and Douthwaitc ranged from three to (en guineas. Corriedalcj aro growing in favour. A ram brought 170 guineas, which is a record for SydBey. Generally, prices wore higher.
