Previously the wago paid these workers was £2 fs. per week. The Conciliation Council increased the amount ' to £2 Bs., and the C'ouit has now raised'the amount to. £2 .10s. The principal difference in the saddlers' award is a provision that piecework rates may be fixed by agreement between the omployers and the union. Hitherto the rates were stated in the award. .'
